The Pantiles is the place to be on New Year’s Eve, and we’re setting the table for a night of modern Asian fine dining, Champagne, and live music, a celebration of flavour and style.
Our New Year’s Eve Dinner isn’t just dinner, it’s a seven-course tasting menu experience that captures everything we love about food: playful, refined, and full of vibrant Asian flavours, designed for one unforgettable night only.
The Menu
Tuna tartare makes its long-awaited comeback, here just for our New Year’s Eve celebration in Tunbridge Wells, dressed with yuzu ponzu, wasabi mayo, pickled mooli, and a delicate sesame cracker.
Kumquat (our namesake fruit) appears in three guises: bright in a spritz, rich in a relish, and softly poached in the final dessert.
Duck breast, twice over: a smoky amuse-bouche with kumquat relish, followed later with a pink peppercorn-crust, an onion & star anise purée and a hint of Filipino Tanduay Gold rum.
And for the finale: duck-egg custard tart with blood orange gel, salted caramel ice cream, sesame tuile, and those signature poached kumquats.
It’s modern Asian fine dining with a festive twist, our own Asian tasting menu for the most extraordinary night of the year, created by Chef Patron Alex Boyd, winner of Asian & Oriental Chef of the Year for London & the Southeast.
